Time to Hire = The Day the Candidate was Hired - The Application Date for the Job
Average Time to Hire = (Employee 1 Time to Hire + Employee 2 Time to Hire) / Total Number of Hired Employees
The average time to hire a job candidate can be different from person to person. Let's get a clearer idea through the below example.
Suppose the application was on the 1st of December 2022 and let's calculate the average time to hire for the hires in 2023 based on the given data above. The total number of employees hired in 2023, so far is 02. They are employee numbers 9 and 10.
TH of Employee 9 = 01/01/2023-01/12/2022= 30 days
TH of Employee 10 = 15/03/2013- 01/12/2022= 102 days
Avg. Time to Hire = (30 days + 102 days) / 2
= 67 day
